We’re Makati’s premier CrossFit gym where everyday people train - from stay at home moms, to small business owners, from medical workers to BPO professionals; to artists and even students.

Room to Roam - Our Facilities

At over 1200 sqm, PrimalApe Crossfit is the King Kong of boxes. That means no more filled-up classes and less risk of injury from over-crowding. With that much space - challenging all-weather, 100-meter runs and fast-climbs up 12-foot ropes become reality.

CrossFit

CrossFit is about functional fitness. Using high-intensity, form-focused workouts, participants improve speed, power and agility. The aim is to forge a body that is capable of anything and everything life throws at you. Whether it’s carrying all your grocery bags in one go, suddenly sprinting for the elevator, or fishing for your luggage off an airport carousel, getting leaner, stronger and faster offers surprisingly pleasing perks.

Primal Fit

For those looking for a workout effective in fat loss, muscle toning, and full-body conditioning, Primal Fit may just be the perfect fit. With the added component of strength building, it boosts the body’s metabolic rate while also building strength and proficiency in functional movements. The movements utilized in Primal Fit are modifiable to any age and any fitness level–from teens to seniors, and from beginners to the athletically inclined. Coaches scale the exercises as needed and are hands on in providing guidance for safe movements and steady progress.

IRON MIKE’S BARBELL CLUB

Led by 4-time CrossFit regional qualifier and 2013 CrossFit Games athlete Michael Mogard, the class is designed for the competitive CrossFit athlete. Customised programs combine various disciplines to increase strength and lower recovery times. Powerlifting, bodybuilding, and weightlifting movements join CrossFit WODs - with the focus on the quality of lifts, not quantity of weight. Tracked workouts with weekly instruction and/or video analysis reach program director Mogard, which, when pursued with patience and discipline, result in consistent yearly gains

GYMNASTICS

Human bodies were designed to move freely in space in the most effective and efficient manner. As athletes, gymnasts are known to execute the most optimal movements through impeccable control of strength, balance, and power.

Primal Ape's Gymnastics WOD (Workout-of-the-Day) is  designed to build a stronger gymnastics foundation for athletes at all levels and of all ages. It doesn't matter if you are a former gymnast, an elite fitness enthusiasts, a CrossFitter, or a Bootcamper, we will get you moving better, faster, and stronger through this hour long fun and dynamic workout!

 

YOGA

Primal Ape’s weekly yoga class promotes strength and flexibility, and most importantly, how to use yoga as a tool for healing the body from training. This hour-long class will focus on longer holds in asanas (poses) for proper understanding of alignment, slow, fluid vinyasas (breathe-initiated movement) to focus on body awareness, and gentle stretches to promote safe recovery.

CF ENDURANCE

CF Endurance is our endurance sports training program dedicated to improving performance, fitness, and endurance sports potential.  It aims to inspire, coach, and provide elite athletes with the most aggressive proven fundamentals of sports science, exercise physiology, and athletic training protocols.

ROMWOD

ROMWOD helps improve range of motion leads to better position and recovery in all weightlifting, Olympic weightlifting, athletic and functional movements. Achieving better position leads to increased power and efficiency. By moving closer to proper movement patterns through increased range of motion you decrease your chance for injury. By strengthening ligaments and fascia you create longevity in your joints and tissues. Recovery is increased through the natural release of hyaluronic acid which is intentionally stimulated throughout ROMWOD’s programing.

Everyone’s fitness journey is personal, but no one at PrimalApe is ever alone. Crossfit Level 1 certified coaches guide members through every high step, pull-up and air squat. Proper warm-up, stretching and cool-downs after hour-long workouts are mandatory. At this box, no one gets left hanging.

+ WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

Rates start up at Php 875/week. Book one of our introductory class for details.


+ Where are you located?

Warehouse 3, American Wireless and Cable Compund, 2135 Don Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City, 1230. We are next to King's Court across Caltex Gas Station along Chino Roces (P. Tamo) near Sen. Gil Puyat Ave (Buendia).


+ HOW DO I SIGN UP?

Just visit our Box, at 2135 Chino Roces, to sign-up in person.


+ IS WATER AVAILABLE? HOW ABOUT SNACKS?

Refreshments are available at the Box, but members may bring their own snacks. Consumption of food and drink are not allowed at the WOD area.


+ ARE THERE LOCKER/SHOWER ROOMS?

Yes, gender-specific locker/shower rooms are available at the Box. Please bring your own padlocks.


+ WHAT DO I BRING?

Wear comfortable workout gear with sturdy rubber shoes. Bring water bottles for hydration. A change of clothes may be deposited at the locker, just remember to bring your own padlock.


+ WHAT TIME SHOULD I SHOW UP FOR MY INTRO CLASS?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your intro class.
